A Stellar Year for Music at Bally

As we come to the close of 2024, the Music Department is reflecting on another HUGE year for Music at Bally, both in curriculum Music and our extracurricular programs.

Our HSC cohort garnered an amazing THREE encore nominations - these nominations go to the best of the best in the state. A big congratulations to Levi Williams, Lucas Briggs and Tom Vogel on their nominations.

We’ve seen some amazing performances from our Band Program - Harbourside Music Festival, Sports Assembly, Presentation Day, Music Showcases, HSC assessments and Manly Jazz Festival.

Through the support of the P&C, we have been able to have industry experts to run workshops with our students, ranging from African Drumming for Year 7, drumming workshops for Years 7 - 12 and Music Tech workshops for our elective students.

We are very thankful to the Bally P&C for their support of the Music Department and its programs, which provide our boys with a top notch, well rounded Music education. We look forward to another brilliant year in 2025.
