Save The Date for the Annual Bally Music Showcases!
Our fourth annual Bally Showcases are coming up in Term 3! Our Band Program ensembles will be performing on Thursday 4th September as part of our Full School Showcase, while our Year 11 and Year 12 students will be performing at the Senior Showcase on Wednesday 3rd September.
These showcases are a key fundraiser for our Music Department and ensure our boys get a world-class music education with access to the best resources, as well as guidance from experienced musicians and teachers. In the past, these showcases have funded the purchase of two Roland keyboards, two drum kits, a set of music stands, instrument maintenance and an abundance of repertoire for our Band Program. They are brilliant evenings with great parent and community support, and the boys love the supportive and fun environment for performing.
The Music Department is after some helpers who can assist with the running of the evening and organisation in the lead up. We need assistance with:
Sourcing raffle prizes
Canteen organisation
Selling raffle tickets and manning the canteen on the night
Checking and selling tickets on the door on the evening
